ABC has just released a press release that previews just what to expect, explaining that "Juliette's baby shower is a bust, and indie sensation Ron Pope guest stars as himself."

According to the official ABC press release, in "This Just Ain't A Good Day For Leavin'" (S03E17), "Juliette is excited about Rayna throwing her a star-studded baby shower, but when Rayna gets pulled into Sadie's drama instead of hosting, Juliette starts her own mama drama."
"Bucky and Luke Wheeler both are interested in signing rising singer/songwriter Ron Pope (who guest stars as himself)," continues the ABC synopsis.
"Gunnar is upset by Scarlett growing closer to Dr. Rand, and Sadie finds a kindred spirit in an old friend, on "Nashville" airing WEDNESDAY, APRIL 8 (10:00-11:00 p.m. ET) on the ABC Television Network," concludes the official synopsis.
Episode 17 of "Nashville" Season 3 is written by Paul Keables, and directed by Micheal Lohmann.
In addition to the series regulars, "This Just Ain't A Good Day For Leavin'" (S03E17) guest stars Ed Amatrudo as Glenn Goodman, David Alford as Bucky Dawes, Kourtney Hansen as Emily, Laura Benanti as Sadie Stone, Moniqua Plante as Natasha, Jay Wilkison as Pete Collins, and of course Ron Pope as himself.
Included in the ABC press release is a brief blurb about Ron Pope, which explains that the singer "has made a name for himself in the music industry as one of the top-grossing independent acts on the scene today."
"On the sales front, he has sold over 2 million singles to date, averages 15 million spins a month on Pandora, and has 75 million Spotify streams in top 10 songs alone (117 million total streams across all songs/streaming platforms). He also tours the US and internationally regularly, playing to sold out crowds at top venues," describes ABC.
