Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather will hold their first media workout this April, while Justin Bieber is reportedly rooting for Mayweather on the upcoming fight on May 2.
The local media outlet in the Philippines, GMA News, reported that both fighters will give the public a chance to see their current form ahead of the upcoming fight of the millennium. The eight-division champion Manny Pacquiao is scheduled to hold its first media workout on April 15 at the Wild Card Gym in Los Angeles, California. Pacquiao's opponent, Floyd Mayweather will also hold a media workout at Mayweather Boxing Club in Las Vegas, Nevada on April 14.
Furthermore, Manny Pacquiao's coach Freddie Roach reportedly stated that he was not happy with how Manny was following Chris Algieri in the fight and he will make sure that the Filipino fighter will not do the same on the upcoming fight with Mayweather, cites Bad Left Hook.
"The first thing in the gym here, we go back to cutting the ring off and how he's going to fight Mayweather and not to fall into traps, Mayweather does set traps," said Roach.
"When he's moving along the ropes and you follow him, he will set you up for the right hand, that is something we had to work on," he said.
He added that Floyd Mayweather may find himself being beaten in his own game.
"I think Mayweather's gonna have trouble with the side to side movement, I love being in this fight, I know we're in must-win situation, but the thing is I'm very confident that we're gonna win this fight," said Roach according to the Inquirer.
The seven-time trainer-of-the-year believes that Manny Pacquiao will win by knockout.
Meanwhile, the total revenues of Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather fight on May 2 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas is expected to hit around $400 million.
