Good news, gaming fans as new updates for "Final Fantasy XV" have been revealed, regarding a new character, gameplay details and a possible release date.
Gematsu has reported that Famitsu conducted a survey to gaming fans regarding their opinions on the "Final Fantasy XV" demo. According to the survey, 70 percent of the players were happy and satisfied with "Episode: Duscae", while 20 percent were "unsatisfied" with the demo.
Gematsu further adds that "Final Fantasy XV" director Hajime Tabata shared his thoughts on improving the game's combat system.
"The battle system from the demo is about 50 percent complete. I want to level-headedly respond to requests for improvement," Tabata told Famitsu."The full retail version will have things like magic and co-op chains, which I feel will really freshen up how players approach combat. Because Ramuh has special specifications in the demo, there will be systematic improvements in the full release.”
Aside from the combat system, Segment Next reports that Tabata will be adding a new female character to Noctis' group in the game.
“It’s possible we’ll have female characters join the party as guests. But since it’s an all-mate party, when you have a female character as a guest, their behavior might change because a woman is around.”
So far, three female characters are already present in "FFXV"; Stella Nox Fleuret, Lunafreya Nox Fleuret and Cindy.
Gamespot (via Christian Post) previously reported that Tabata intended to have an all-male party in "FFXV" just to make it "more approachable" to players.
"Having them all the same gender made sense in that way," Tabata said to Gamespot.
Square Enix's partnership with Taiwanese based company XPEC has been a great decision in terms of "Final Fantasy XV's" progress. XPEC had the technology and the means to finish the second part of the game as Tabata is confident enough that the finished product will make gaming fans happy.
"We really think that the feeling of the journey, adventure, and bonding that no other Final Fantasy has been able to do before, we'll be able to achieve that in Final Fantasy XV," Tabata said.
Lastly, Cyberland reportedly claimed that Square Enix will launch "Final Fantasy XV" on May 2016, and that will reveal new game details at the Electronic Entertainment Expo 2015 on June 16-18.
"My sources tell me that it can be confirmed that FFXV will be available on May 2016. Square Enix would use E3 to build hype for the game and they would wait a few more months to get hype boiling similar to what Rocksteady is doing to the Arkham Knight right now," Cyberland reports.
