Recent "The 100" season 3 spoilers revealed that the forthcoming episodes will focus on Clarke and Lexa's relationship. The series producer also revealed some major details about Clarke's sexuality. Keep on reading to find out.
Speaking to After Ellen, "The 100" co-producer and writer, Kira Snyder officially confirmed fan's assumptions after watching the famous kiss of Clarke and Lexa.
"I believe, yes, officially Clarke is bisexual," Snyder revealed. "The 100" show runner, however, was quick to add that Clarke's sexuality does not define her.
"The 100" producer added that Clarke's sexuality should not have come off as a shocking spoiler to many.
"It's just something we also wanted to do and have so it's not, 'Oh my gosh! It's a big revelation!'"
Snyder added that the kiss between Clarke and Lexa is not something that "The 100" writers just put in to rake in writings.
"It's like, she loves boys, she loves girls, and she wasn't ready to be with anybody at that point. The way in which that unfolded was something we were committed to treating responsibly in a grounded kind of way," she said.
When about "The 100" season 3 episode spoilers about Lexa and Clarke's relationship, the producer, unfortunately, did not reveal much.
"I can’t say. We’re digging back into season 3 very shortly and we’ll see. We’re a big fan of the actress, even though she’s on this other show [Fear the Walking Dead]. There’s opportunity to bring the character back. She’s not dead," she said.
She, however, teased that Lexa could come back in "The 100" season 3.
"We could and we want to. I think we’re open to that as a possibility and we’d love to have her come play with us again. The character’s great. She obviously has a lot of sort of baggage—not just with Clarke but everybody, so I think it’d be great for the story of the show to have her back so we’ll see what happens. We’re hopeful," she said.
