Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban is reportedly fascinated with the prospect of bringing Linsanity to the city next season. Meanwhile, Jeremy Lin and Byron Scott allegedly can still learn a lot from each other despite their tumultuous relationship.

A report from The Smoking Cuban, a Dallas Mavericks fan site, pointed to the tweet from announcer Mark Followill who wrote, "Was just about to brush my teeth before Mark Cuban called me he is bringing Jeremy Lin to Metroplex next season. Unprecedented and unconfirmed report this is! #Linsanity."

"It seems like only yesterday, but the Linsanity that ensued in The Big Apple-a confident kid who excelled in pick-and-roll, throwing alley-oops to Tyson Chandler and dropping 28 points and 14 assists on the Dallas Mavericks-was over three years ago," it said.

"The question Lin will have to answer is his capability to play with a winning franchise. But the immediate reaction after this made-up news is that he will succeed playing the point guard in a heavy pick and roll system designed perfectly for him by the Mavs' puppeteer Rick Carlisle," the article added.

Meanwhile, Andy Kamenetzky wrote a piece for Lakers Nationhttps://www.lakersnation.com/what-byron-scott-and-jeremy-lin-can-learn-from-each-other/2015/03/31/ which claimed that Linsanity should be one-and-done in LA Lakers land because of different philosophies between coach Byron Scott and Jeremy Lin.

"However, that's not to say neither man couldn't learn from having clashed due to starkly different personalities. In fact, those differences are what make this campaign a potential learning experience," he wrote.

He wrote that Linsanity occurred when Mike D'Antoni gave Jeremy Lin free rein to do what he does best-pick-and-roll offense. But Byron Scott, being old-school believed that pick-and-roll encourages stagnant offense.

"But even acknowledging Scott's stubbornness, Lin's struggle without pick-and-roll as a security blanket speaks to limitations the guard must overcome to get the most of his career," Kamenetzky added. Under better circumstances, Scott could have offered his player some valuable wisdom about 'toughness.' Just as his player could have taught his coach a thing or two about coaching."
