Angelina Jolie has never been afraid to expose herself in public and on Friday afternoon, she went makeup-free while picking up glasses with Zahara and Shiloh in Los Angeles.

For the casual day out, Shiloh was wearing a Hackett polo and shorts which she paired with green slippers. Older sister, Zahara, meanwhile was wearing jogging pants and blue hoodie.

Angeline Jolie, while makeup-free, still managed to look glamorous in her all-black ensemble.

"She was seen carrying her essentials in a classic black handbag," Daily Mail reported. "Angelina was seen trying out several different frames while Zahara and Shiloh waited patiently beside her."

Zahara and Shiloh accompanied Angelina Jolie to the Nickelodeon Kids Awards where Brad Pitt's wife took home the Favorite Villain plum. Even at that event, the 39-year-old actress looked resplendent even with the nude makeup on.

Angelina Jolie has just underwent a cancer scare on her ovaries. She decided to have them removed.

In an opinion piece for New York Times, Brad Pitt's wife wrote, "I did not do this solely because I carry the BRCA1 gene mutation, and I want other women to hear this. A positive BRCA test does not mean a leap to surgery. I have spoken to many doctors, surgeons and naturopaths. There are other options."

"Some women take birth control pills or rely on alternative medicines combined with frequent checks. There is more than one way to deal with any health issue. The most important thing is to learn about the options and choose what is right for you personally."

"Regardless of the hormone replacements I'm taking, I am now in menopause," Angelina Jolie wrote of her cancer scare. "I will not be able to have any more children, and I expect some physical changes. But I feel at ease with whatever will come, not because I am strong but because this is a part of life. It is nothing to be feared."
