Good news for Ronda Rousey's fans. She may be working a singles match with Stephanie McMahon.

UFC Women's Bantamweight Champion, Ronda "Rowdy" Rousey made a strong statement when she tossed Triple H and Stephanie McMahon out of the ring at WrestleMania 31.

Rousey's WrestleMania appearance fueled speculation that the mixed martial artist may have a WWE match in her future, leaving every WWE and UFC fan contemplating in unison, "What's next?"

According to WrestlingInc, wrestling fans' wish may soon be granted because on Sunday's (April 5) episode of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Melter said that the WWE has unconfirmed plans for the undefeated UFC fighter Ronda Rousey working a singles match with Stephanie McMahon.

Following her WrestleMania appearance, fans speculated that "Rowdy" could probably team up with the "People's Champ" The Rock to take on Triple H and his wife Stephanie McMahon in a mixed tag team match. Another possibility saw The Rock going toe-to-toe with the leader of team Authority, Triple H, with Stephanie and Rousey in their corners.

That said, Ronda may make another appearance down the road and maybe she'll even work a match -- perhaps at next year's WrestleMania 32.

GlendaleNewsPress noted that the next year's WrestleMania will take place in Dallas and, perhaps, it was no accident that one of the preceding adjectives used in the promo was "rowdier."

However, these are just rumored plans. There are numerous factors to even get the UFC's most dominant female fighter in the ring. Just last week, Rousey's agent revealed that for now, her World Wrestling Entertainment deal was just a one-off performance with no other obligations to fulfill. In addition, UFC as an organization would also have to provide Rousey clearance to compete in a match.

UFC did, in fact, clear her for her WrestleMania appearance.

If this happens, it definitely won't be for the first time as many UFC contracted fighters have been approved to compete in the Metamoris grappling events promoted by Gracies. Rousey's partner Shayna Baszler appeared for ROH last month and former UFC Heavyweight Champion Josh Barnett also got clearance to work a professional wrestling match in Japan, last year. However, Light Heavyweight Tom Lawlor was pulled from many planned dates.

Without a doubt, Rousey's stardom has quickly grown across all media. And with an improved overall game in mixed martial arts, there are all chances of her being the first woman to headline wrestling's biggest event.
