New dad Ryan Gosling left partner Eva Mendes to take care of baby Esmeralda as the "Lost River" actor headed to France. After arriving at the capital on Monday, the actor even took time to engage her female fans.
Ryan Gosling arrived in Paris without partner Eva Mendes and an entourage, although he got a wall of security around him.
"The 'Notebook' actor chose a throwback look in a button-down shirt, coloured brown, and some matching smart trousers," Daily Mail said. "His short-sleeved shirt was worn open with a necklace hanging down and he wore only a wristwatch to smarten his ensemble."
Just Jared reported, "The 34-year-old actor missed his daughter Esmeralda's first Easter this past weekend, since he was seen flying out of Los Angeles."
"Ryan is currently in the City of Light to promote his directorial debut Lost River, which will hit theaters in the country on Wednesday (April 8)," it said.
Ryan Gosling didn't show any crankiness even if he and partner Eva Mendes have not been sleeping much since baby Esmeralda arrived.
When she was the guest on "Ellen DeGeneres Show" on Dec. 3, Eva Mendes talked her and Ryan Gosling's adjustment about the baby.
"You know we're getting the hang of it, the sleeping thing, but yeah I'm exhausted and it's the best...Really, I'm so incredibly tired. I thought I was tired before at times, but no. Nothing like this, but I wouldn't have it any other way," the model said.
Meanwhile, Lesley Coffin of The Mary Sue wrote that Ryan Gosling took a risk by premiering "Lost River" in Cannes that could end up in disaster, commercial-wise.
"He got booed; he received bad reviews; and, feeling unable to market the film, Warner Bros dropped their distribution from limited and art house theatres to releasing it in barely any theatrical markets the same day that it hits VOD," she wrote.
