Mariah Carey and "America's Got Talent" host Nick Cannon are in the middle of a reportedly nasty divorce proceeding, but they reunited on Easter Sunday to treat their twins, Roc and Roe, to a traditional egg hunt.
Mariah Carey shared an Instagram photo showing her standing near ex-husband Nick Cannon while the kids scoured for eggs. She captioned the image, "Happy Easter!!! #ontheegghunt #NYiswild."
One fan noted, "wish they'd just get back together."
Another gave a dose of reality check, "they're still divorced but they're probably co-parenting."
"Them babies look happy, you look happy and good @mariahcarey," one fan noted.
Nick Cannon actually reposted the Mariah Carey Instagram photo along with the caption, "Best Easter Sunday @BronxZoo Roc & Roe had a blast finding eggs all over the Zoo! #FestiveFamily #HappyEaster."
One of his followers wrote, "@nickcannon this is beautiful, this is where you belong! Happy Easter!"
Another fan begged for Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey reunion, "@nickcannon can you take Mariah Carey back y'all are such a cute couple."
And still another commented, "Best family. That what co-parents do.They are so cute. What are yall planing for demkids 4th Birthday?Im proud that u and @mariahcarey are doing great.Family comes first."
There might be no hope for a reunion, however, as Nick Cannon has moved on to Jessica White after filing for divorce from Mariah Carey. But the "America's Got Talent" host is staying true to his philosophy of putting the kids over everything else.
In an interview with E! News, Nick Cannon said that "dem babies" are the reason why he and Mariah Carey are working so hard.
"Family is the number one priority. It's always making sure that you make that connection first," he said. "Just even where I move or the places where my days start has to be starting with the kids first."
Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey are reportedly battling for custody over the kids, as well as the division of property which only complicated the divorce proceedings.
