Ryan Reynolds was apparently okay after falling victim to a hit-and-run accident while filming "Deadpool" in Vancouver, Canada on Sunday, multiple reports claimed.
According to People, Blake Lively's husband and father-of-one was hit by a paparazzo who was then driving his vehicle through a parking garage in the basement.
Publicist Leslie Slone told the magazine, "The [driver] fled the scene. Ryan is okay."
"While walking, Ryan was struck by a paparazzi driving a car through an underground parking garage," Slone added.
Ryan Reynolds is currently in Vancouver while filming the much-anticipated film, "Deadpool." Wife Blake Lively couldn't be there following the hit-and-run incident because she's filming "Age of Adaline" in Los Angeles. Their baby is also staying with her.
The "Deadpool" star proved that his humor was unaffected by the hit-and-run incident when he was tagged by Richard Zussman on Twitter with the following request, "Hey @VancityReynolds, the CBC wants to know how you are doing after being hit by a car. Can you call (604) 662-6990."
Blake Lively's husband quipped on his Twitter, "Put Beachcombers back on the air and I'll call."
"The Beachcombers" is a series on CBC TV network that ran from 1972-1990 chronicling "The adventures of a professional lumber salvager and his friends in Gibsons, British Columbia, Canada," said IMDB.
Movie Pilot commented that Ryan Reynolds is the perfect cast for "Deadpool."
"Deadpool is well known as a 'hero' who can take a massive amount of punishment. In fact, he seems to like it. Apparently, the same is true for his live-action counterpart, Ryan Reynolds," it said.
"Police are currently unsure about what actually occurred during the incident. Reynolds was walking out of the Shrangri-La Hotel when he was hit by a car in what police are describing as a 'minor hit-and-run' accident."
The article if the report is true, it won't be the first time the paparazzi were blamed in several celebrity vehicle incidents.
