Sarah Paulson has finally ended news speculations as she confirmed in her social media that she's back for "American Horror Story" season 5.
In a Twitter post, Sarah Paulson wrote, "I so fuckeeeen HAPPY to be able to finally tell you: IM BAAAAAACCK!! #AHSHotel."
Ryan Murphy also tweeted, "Sarah Paulson is checking into "Hotel." And this season, she's the baddest bad girl of them all. #AHSSeason5."
"The 'American Horror Story' vet has booked a role in FX anthology hit's forthcoming Hotel-themed installment, bringing her AHS tally to five (following stints in Freak Show, Coven, Asylum and Murder House)," said TVLine news on "American Horror Story" season 5.
"According to exec producer Ryan Murphy, Paulson will be playing a villain this time around," the website added.
Sarah Paulson has been nominated for her roles on "American Horror Story."
She will start filming for "Hotel" once she wraps up production for FX Network's "American Crime Story," another creation of Ryan Murphy.
The news about Sarah Paulson joining "American Horror Story" season 5 after previous reports about her being left out of "Hotel."
Jessica Lange, another "AHS" veteran, has still not confirmed that she's coming back for the fifth time. Emma Roberts also has yet to announce if she's checking into "Hotel."
Jessica Lange in an earlier interview with Entertainment Weekly hinted that she might not return for the fifth season of "American Horror Story."
"It's like doing a stage play between the rehearsal and the run. This is a 6-month commitment every year. That will be four years in a row," she said. "I want to have more time to myself I guess."
Sarah Paulson will join Kathy Bates, who will reportedly play the hotel owner, Lady Gaga, Matt Bomer, Cheyenne Jackson, Wes Bentley and Chloë Sevigny. The series will air in October this year.
