According to "Grey's Anatomy" season 11 spoilers from Christian Today, the next episode would involve victims of a plane crash being brought into the emergency rooms of Seattle Grace Hospital. These events prove too much for Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) and Arizona (Jessica Capshaw) as they remind them of the plane crash they were in in the eighth season of the show. Meredith and Arizona will hide in the hospital's supply closet while the patients are being wheeled in.

"Grey's Anatomy" season 11 spoilers said that the next episode will feature a plane crash left several doctors wounded and left two of them, Lexie (Chyler Leigh) and Mark (Eric Dane), with fatal injuries. Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) was not gravely wounded, but she had suffered trauma from witnessing the death of her sister and seeing her husband's stuck in the plane's wall. Arizona's leg had to be amputated due to infection caused by a broken bone.

However, Meredith not only has to deal with the post-traumatic stress disorder that came with the plane crash, but also with the possibility that her husband Derek (Patrick Dempsey) is missing. In episode 19, she received a phone call asking about Derek's whereabouts. She later learns that he never attended his meeting in Washington. Meredith's coworker Bailey tells her that if she hasn't heard from him at 5pm then she can panic.

Spoilers for "Grey's Anatomy" season 11, also revealed that episode 20 involves the storyline of Owen (Kevin McKidd) and Amelia's (Caterina Scorsone) breakup. The pair's breakup causes Stephanie (Jerrika Hinton) to have an awkward working environment.
