According to "Vikings" season 3 spoilers from Design & Trend, the Vikings' plan is to swim under the bridges that connect Paris to the mainland, meaning that there is a chance that they can penetrate the City of Light's seemingly impenetrable walls. A clip from the episode also shows the Vikings attacking at nighttime contrary to their previous attempt where they attacked during the day.

Once the Vikings enter the city, Count Odo (Owen Roe) tells King Charles (Lothaire Bluteau) that the "Northmen are almost inside the city."

However, the answer to whether or not they will be successful in conquering Paris is still very much up in the air. It is known that King Charles will be forced to make a difficult decision whether on his daughter, Princess Gisla (Morgane Polanski), or how they are to deal with the Vikings.

Ragnar's brother Rollo (Clive Standen) is frustrated and has turned vicious because he remains in the shadow of his brother. Reports claim that he has become "monstrous" due to the fact that his brother is steadily moving up the ranks while he remains where he is. Rollo believes Siggy (Jessalyn Gilsig) is the only one there for him, especially now that he has turned to alcoholism as a coping mechanism for his problems.
