Various reports claimed that chef Bobby Flay's divorce from his wife Stephanie March is getting quite messy. The pair have been separated for a number of weeks already, but new developments in their divorce are still making the rounds in the tabloids.
According to TMZ, Bobby Flay claimed that his wife Stephanie March is whining over a pretty valid and reasonable prenuptial agreement, most notably with its terms surrounding the couple's finances.
March is reportedly working with her legal team on how to send back Flay's "support" checks worth $5,000 a month. This is because she is reportedly upset with the low amount Flay sends in the checks. However, their prenuptial agreement states that Flay must send $5,000 a month in support, and so far, he has not failed to commit to the stipulation in the agreement.
According to Stephanie March's lawyer, Bobbie Flay, who filed for divorce last week, discontinued his soon to be ex-wife's credit cards, meaning that she has been experiencing difficulty in buying basic necessities such as food and pet supplies.
Bobby Flay reportedly also wants his wife Stephanie March to release a joint press release about their divorce being amicable. If she doesn't agree to these terms, March will not be able to stay in their apartment to care for her mother who is currently sick.
There have also been rumors circulating that infidelity is the reason for the couple's split.
Both Bobby Flay and Stephanie March have been accused of infidelity during their 10 years of marriage. Flay has been linked with January Jones and fellow chef and Food Network presenter Giadaa De Laurentiis.
TMZ also reported that Bobby Flay denied rumors that he was bullying his estranged wife into a settlement. Instead, he claimed that it was actually Stephanie March's lawyer who was threatening to air his dirty laundry if he failed to agree to her terms. The chef also reached out to his wife but March allegedly made it difficult by "attacking him and his character."
