UFC star Conor McGregor proudly showed off his new tattoo in Venice Beach. However, not everyone turned out to be a fan of his new ink.

McGregor already had a large gorilla tattooed across his chest two years ago, and now the Irish mixed martial artist reportedly added another animal to his torso after a visit to a tattoo shop in Venice Beach.

The fighter has been gracing the headlines recently as he is scheduled to go toe-to-toe with UFC champion Jose Aldo in July. As fans eagerly wait to see whether the Irishman can live up to his hype or not, the world tour promoting the fight turned out to be a major success.

Conor McGregor debuted his new tattoo to the world by sending out an incredible tweet.

As McGregor has a few months to gear up for the fight, it looks like he has used some of his downtime to get some new ink, Fansided noted.

It looks like UFC featherweight No. 1 contender sees himself as a tiger and perhaps that motivated him to add a tiger to his bellybutton prior to his UFC 189 title fight against Jose Aldo in Las Vegas.

McGregor was spotted in a Venice Beach parlor with a tiger covering his stomach, enclosing his bellybutton in to part of the animal's nose. The contender happily flaunted the new art work in style, according to Independent. This would be the second wildlife tat on McGregor's torso. Although his latest tattoo has won approvals of many, some people are apparently not big fans of his chest piece.

Besides his new tattoo, McGregor has been making headlines for a new documentary that centers on the MMA star. It was revealed earlier this week that "The Notorious," the documentary tracing Conor McGregor's spectacular rise, is to be screened to US audiences soon. Fox Sport has picked up the series and reportedly intends to air it on six consecutive nights.

The flamboyant Dubliner was followed by a film crew during the build up to his victory over Diego Brando in 2014 and his bout with Dustin Poirier in Las Vegas. "The Notorious: The Series" is expected to screen in the U.S. later this month.
