The Manny Pacquiao vs Floyd Mayweather fight will happen in about two weeks and Mayweather Promotions has disclosed that tickets will be available within this week.
According to Fox 5 Vegas, Mayweather Promotions CEO Leonard Ellerbe disclosed on FOX5 Plus Sunday night that tickets to the Manny Pacquiao vs Floyd Mayweather fight will be available this week. However, Ellerbe did not disclose which day it will be ready, only adding that tickets would be available for "quite a few".
He also said that the contract between the promoters and MGM, covering hotel rooms for the fighters' camps and ticket allotment, have not yet been finalized.
"We are working through things, and everything will get done in its due time," said Ellerbe.
Furthermore, the "entry-level tickets" to "The Fight of The Century" has reportedly started at $1,500 and the "high-end seats" might cost about $7,500, according to Hawaii News Now.
As for the suggested retail price for the pay-per-view broadcast of the Floyd Mayweather vs Manny Pacquiao fight, it will likely be at $99.95 for high definition and $89.95 for standard definition.
Moreover, with just a few weeks before the richest fight in boxing history, Manny Pacquiao has released a music video of a song that will purportedly be played when he walks to the ring to face the undefeated American boxer on May 2.
According to GMA News, the music video is titled "Lalaban Ako Para Sa Filipino" meaning, "I Am Going to Fight for Filipinos," which was written by composer Lito Camo. It was posted online by Manny himself on April 12.
The four-minute music video featured shots of Manny Pacquiao and his previous fights and his training sessions for the upcoming fight against Mayweather. It also featured scenes showing Filipinos who have been affected by disasters.
