Anne Hathaway and husband David Shulman just couldn't get their hands off each other as they were snapped kissing while shopping in the Big Apple on Tuesday. Meanwhile, rumors are flying about the couple trying to adopt a baby to expand their family.

"The 32-year-old enjoyed a little PDA with her sweetheart as they took a stroll in Manhattan, with her chivalrous beau carrying the bags," said Daily Mail. "Anne hid her brunette locks under her hat and wore minimal make-up for their retail therapy, before stopping to hide behind her umbrella to steal a kiss."

The "Les Miserables" star and David Shulman got married after four years of dating.

Anne Hathaway has been very vocal about her desire to have he own baby.

The actress talked The Hollywood Reporter in a roundtable discussion and she was asked how fame has changed her life.

"I'm thinking about that because I really want to have a baby, and my husband and I are like, 'Where are we gonna live?'"

The roundtable talk was joined by Sally Field, Naomi Watts Amy Adams, Rachel Weisz, Marion Cotillard, and Helen Hunt.

"I'm the only one here who's not a mother. I hope to join the ranks soon," Anne Hathaway added.

In a report from OK! Magazine, per Celebrity Dirty Laundry, Anne Hathaway and husband David Shulman allegedly have started the process of adoption.

"The couple has been bragging to anyone who will listen about the new baby they are going to receive," it said. "But, unlike several other celebrities, Anne Hathaway has opted to adopt an American baby rather than one from overseas because she wants to help kids 'close to home.'"

However, Gossip Cop said that Anne Hathaway and husband David Shulman are not adopting a baby, contrary to the report from Star Magazine which claimed that the Oscar winner is "unbelievably happy right now."

"Star doesn't have a good track record when it comes to Hathaway," Gossip Cop noted. "In 2013, the tabloid falsely reported she was already pregnant with her first child. The magazine was wrong back then, and it's equally off-base now about her adopting a baby."
