Samsung Galaxy S6 Available at Cricket Starting April 24, Cricket's New Phone Payment Plans Allow Customers to Get the Device for an Initial $19.99

Cricket Wireless has disclosed that the latest smartphone from Samsung, the Galaxy S6, will be available starting April 24.

According to Cricket Wireless, customers can get the Samsung Galaxy S6 for an initial payment of $19.99, with an approved credit and a smartphone plan. Also, the carrier added that customers can take advantage of "Cricket's 90 days same-as-cash payment option" after an initial payment of $49.99 and no credit check.

"The Samsung Galaxy S6 is a must-have device for smartphone lovers, and consumers are beginning to shop for a great deal. That's where we come in," said Andy Smoak the head of devices for Cricket Wireless.

"Cricket's low monthly rate plans, combined with our new Phone Payment Plans, make the latest premium devices like the Samsung S6 easier to get."

The Samsung Galaxy S6 has 5.1-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1440 x 2560 that translates into 577 ppi. For screen protection, the device has a Corning Gorilla Glass 4 and TouchWiz UI, according to GSM Arena.

Galaxy S6 runs on the Exynos 7420 chipset with Android OS v5.0.2 Lollipop and CPU of quad-core 1.5 GHz Cortex-A53 and quad core 2.1 GHz Cortex-A57. The device has a Mali T760MP8 GPU with 3GB of RAM and the storage variants are 32, 64 and 128GB respectively.

In terms of camera, the Samsung Galaxy S6 has a 16MP rear camera and a 5MP front-facing camera. The back camera features optical image stabilization, f1. 9 aperture for better low-light results and high dynamic range mode. The front camera has a 120 wide-angle lens that can capture an image with exceptional quality.

The Samsung Galaxy S6 has a 2,550 mAh battery with a built-in industry-standard wireless charging capability. It also features an ultra power saving mode that allows users to continue to make calls or send a text message even if the battery is down to 10 percent.
