Jeremy Lin ended the season with a sour taste in a mouth as he was injured with only a few games to go. Now, his future in free agency is unclear but he's not entirely closing his doors on coming back with the Los Angeles Lakers.
According to the Bleacher Report, Jeremy Lin is looking for "the best place" that can maximize his skill set.
When asked about whether Linsanity will stay with the Los Angeles Lakers, he said, "I don't know where I'm going to be next year, but never say never. I would definitely keep this open. It's not like this is last resort."
Jeremy Lin finished the season far below his Linsanity averages, as he managed to boast of 11.2 points, 4.6 assists and 2.2 turnovers. But he did manage to pick up his play following the All-Star break when Los Angeles Lakers coach Byron Scott gave him free rein to utilize his strength: pick-and-roll.
"I want to find a good place and hopefully the best place I can fit in at. I want to be able to find a good fit for me," he said, adding that he's much more focused on getting ample playing time than getting a huge contract this off-season.
Coach Byron Scott, however, is not a fan of free-wheeling offense and pick-and-roll, which could mean that Linsanity will definitely not come back to Los Angeles Lakers next season.
Meanwhile, Jeremy Lin visited Manny Pacquiao's camp to show his support for the Filipino champ heading into the megafight with Floyd Mayweather.
Manny Pacquiao in a Twitter post shared a photo with Linsanity, which he captioned, "Thank you @JLin7 for coming to show your support. Thank for showing your love for the Lord and being a good example."
Despite all the hype surrounding Linsanity and the Pacman, Jeremy Lin and Manny Pacquiao, they are known to be devout Christian and have stayed humble through their faith in God.
