On the episode of KBS drama "IRIS 2" that aired on February 27, the tragic past of Choi Min (Oh Yeon Soo) was revealed.
Choi Min asks Yoo Gun (Jang Hyuk) about the reason why he is after IRIS and begins to speak about her childhood memories. Choi Min mentions about a day she remembers when she was waiting for her mom as an 8 year old little girl. She continues to explain that her mother never showed up because she died from terror bombing. She says, "After that I have never complained to anybody."
Choi Min's story does not end there. Choi Min speaks of a different story, "Once, I complained to my boyfriend. It was the first time I complained in 20 years after my parents passed away. I was complaining to him about the ring he forgot for his proposal. I complained to him to go get it from his office. That day was September 11, 2001" revealing the death of her boyfriend.
Choi Min stated that she is after IRIS because she doesn't want to keep losing the people she loves. Yoo Gun listened silently thinking about the story of how he lost his father to IRIS.
Also, Yeon Hwa (Im Soo Hyang) reveals to Joong Won (Lee Bum Soo) that her parents passed away while escaping from North Korea and that she is going to get revenge.
Joong Won, who lost his brother, says, "Who are you going to take revenge on? I would kill anybody if it would bring my little brother back. I would kill anybody one hundred times. Your mother and my little brother are not coming back."
