"The Bachelorette" 2015 spoilers revealed that host Chris Harrison, might be leaving the reality show to pursue another hosting gig.
"The Bachelor" and "Bachelorette in Paradise" host is set to replace Terry Crews on the game show "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?" in the fall of this year.
According to "The Bachelorette" 2015 spoilers from NY Post, Chris Harrison could be taking a break from hosting reality series for a while to replace Terry Crews as host in "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire."
Crews will leave his post on the show to focus more on his TV and movie roles, most notably his role in the Fox sitcom, "Brooklyn Nine-Nine."
He hosted the popular game show for one year, taking over after Cedric the Entertainer left the show in order to pursue other endeavors much like his successor Crews.
Lisa Hackner, ABC's executive VP of Daytime & Syndicated Programming, released a statement about Crews' departure.
"We thank Terry enormously and are very grateful for the time and energy he put into the show this season," it read.
"Chris has hosted 19 seasons of 'The Bachelor', and with that has developed a very deep connection with the TV audience. He is smart, warm and a formidable host and we are thrilled to have him join 'Who Wants To Be A Millionaire,'" she said via E! News.
Chris Harrison has hosted "The Bachelor" series since 2001 (19 seasons).
Harrison has also co-hosted ABC's live coverage of the Miss America Beauty Pageant for the past four years, as well as various red carpet events such as the American Music Awards.
Chris Harrison is set to be the fourth host of the syndicated daytime TV game show after inheriting the job from Terry Crews.
Prior to Terry Crews taking over from Cedric the Entertainer, Meredith Vieira hosted "Who Wants to be a Millionaire."
According to E! News, "The Bachelorette" 2015 fans don't need to worry since Chris Harrison is very much returning to host the reality show, when it airs on May 18 with Kaitlyn Bristowe and Britt Nilsson as the two Bachelorettes.
