"Guardians of the Galaxy" star Zoe Saldana is on a mission to shed off her post-baby weight as she hit the gym on Thursday in Los Angeles without any makeup on.
"Two months into her body transformation, and with two months to get back to work, the brunette beauty went all in for the session, going make-up free in streamlined work out gear when she headed out in Los Angeles," said Daily Mail " said Daily Mail.
In a Facebook post, Zoe Saldana spoke about the difficulty of adjusting to her new body after the birth of her twins.
"Your body changes dramatically, inside and out. You grow in places you never knew you could, and you are tired beyond belief. In some cases more than others, your body experiences a kind of trauma through childbirth that is difficult to explain unless you've had that experience," she wrote.
She enlisted the help of her friend Steve Moyer to get her back in shape before she starts working again. They started training back in January.
"I was 160lbs (at the peak of my pregnancy I reached 185lbs). I had no flexibility, weak joints, and exercising was painful. We started with just walking, I think I only walked that first month. I did however change the way I eat. I began to make better choices with my food."
Thursday wasn't the only time that she went out without makeup as the "Guardians of the Galaxy" star was also snapped on April 14 in Beverly Hills looking fresh.
"Saldana, 36, sported a sleek ponytail, and wore a black sweater with tight-fitting flared denim jeans. She accessorized with a black YSL handbag and red patent leather flats," Us Weekly reported.
For the outing, she was joined by her husband Marco Perego, the report said.
