Lady Gaga and boyfriend Taylor Kinney are allegedly arguing over the prenup, according to the latest tabloid rumor, as the "Bad Romance" hitmaker plans to purchasing a $20-million penthouse in Manhattan.

In the report from Life & Style magazine, Lady Gaga and Taylor Kinney's prenup is causing tension between the two as the "Chicago Fire" actor was reportedly offended by the suggestion.

Accordingly, Lady Gaga wants Taylor Kinney to sign the prenup amounting to $220 million before the big wedding.

The report came on the heels of the article that Lady Gaga and Taylor Kinney are planning on purchasing a penthouse in the Upper West Side in Manhattan worth $20 million.

"Gaga is looking for a penthouse on the Upper West Side near her childhood home, where her parents still live," the report from Page Six said. "She is looking at apartments at around 4,000 square feet, with high ceilings and outdoor space."

Presently, Lady Gaga is renting a duplex at Central Park South for $22,000 a month and she and Taylor Kinney are planning to buy their own home ahead of their wedding.

"Gaga also recently paid $24 million for an estate in Malibu, where she plans to marry Kinney and have close friend Tony Bennett perform at the ceremony," it said.

In a related report, Gossip Cop claimed that there's no truth to the rumor that Lady Gaga and Taylor Kinney are fighting over a prenup.

"Actually, here's what seems to have happened. Gaga and Kinney got engaged in February. There's been no controversy or scandal since then," the website said. "Life & Style decided to create one, and allegations of 'prenup battles' are always pretty easy to fabricate, especially when an outlet can toss out giant, unsubstantiated numbers like '$220 million.'"

Meanwhile, a rep reportedly told Gossip Cop that the alleged prenup battle is false.
