Alicia just had a personal experience of just how ugly politics can be, and spoilers for "The Good Wife" season 6 episode 20 hinted that it will be a case of once burned, twice shy for the show's protagonist.

Meanwhile, Juliana Magulies teased season 6 spoilers for "The Good Wife" to E! News after the Democratic Party asked her to resign to save the majority.

She said that Alicia will have "a lot of self-examination" in the aftermath of the elections board hearing.

"My guess is she's going to stay away from politics...I think she's so disgusted with the system," she said. "I think she'll find the good in it and she'll probably fight twice as hard. But I can guarantee you, it's going to cause conflict in the courtroom."

There's already a lot of tension between Alicia and her partners Diane and Cary as a result of her decision to run as state attorney. Now that she's been forced to resign, it would be interesting how the law partners are able to get back to where they used to be.

The synopsis teases spoilers for "The Good Wife" season 6, episode 20 as it reads, "Alicia faces an uncertain future when she is forced to resign as State's Attorney in the wake of a voter fraud scandal. Also, R.D. (Oliver Platt) hires Diane and Cary to argue against two ultra-conservative lawyers for a test case involving mandatory minimum sentencing."

Cartermatt pointed out that there should be a point to the storyline where Alicia was made to run for state attorney. "At the point, things are certainly not looking great, and we don't see a whole lot of hope for her with the politics in Chicago the way that they are," it said.

Watch out for more "The Good Wife" season 6, episode 20 spoilers when they become available ahead of the airing date on April 26 on ABC.
