LG has disclosed that its latest smartphone, the G4, will be available on April 29 in South Korea.
The South Korean tech company revealed that the LG G4 release date in Korea will be on April 29, as it will be unveiled on April 28, according to Pocket-lint.
Also, LG confirmed to GSM Arena that "May 31 is the promotion, not the shipping date of G4. Reservations are being accepted now and Korean customers will be able to pick up their G4s on April 29."
The company also said that, in the South Korean market, they will offer a free screen replacement and a 64GB MicroSD card. However, take note that the deals mentioned are available only in South Korea, so it is not confirmed if the LG G4 will sport a memory expansion. Information about the free screen replacement offer on the device is also limited.
Furthermore, the company has released a new video showing the capabilities of the new camera sensor of LG G4, according to Gadgets NDTV.
"The view stresses on the rear camera's wide f/1.8 lens and the professional-level control that come preloaded in the G6," it said.
The LG G4 will come with a 16MP rear camera and an 8MP front-facing camera. The said device will feature a 5.5-inch QHD display, with a resolution of 1440 x 256o that translates into 535 ppi. It is also rumored to come in plastic or leatherback options and is speculated to run on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 80 chipset.
In addition, LG had recently announced that it is about to give away 4,000 LG G4 handsets to select consumers.
Meanwhile, the launch event of LG G4 will take place in London, New York, and Paris on April 28, then in Singapore and Istanbul on April 29.
