"IRIS 2" Jang Hyuk's father turns out to be Kim Young Cheol.

During the 6th episode of the KBS drama "IRIS 2" that aired on February 28, the relationship of Baek San (Kim Young Cheol) and Jung Yoo Gun (Jang Hyuk) has been revealed.

Baek San reminisced about his past after receiving news about Jung Yoo Gun's disappearance. When Baek San was young, he decided to marry his girlfriend and even received approval from his superiors. They told him, "Would you consider changing out mind about the marriage? I guess there is nothing we can do. I hope it is something you will not regret. Go ahead."

Baek San bought flowers for his love and went on his way to propose to her. However, his girlfriend Soo Min was attacked by unidentified people. When Baek San arrived, Soo Min was bleeding to death. When he tried to save her, he was attacked by the same group of people and lost consciousness.

After a while, Baek San woke up to find strangers amongst him. They told him, "From now on, your name is Baek San. You will live as a completely different person. First, you need your health back. The first assignment will be cleaning up the CIA trash."

Baek San asked about his girlfriend and they replied, "She died. The fetus died with her."

While Baek San was receiving new orders, Soo Min was being ordered, "If you want to live, go live quietly with the new identity we give you. Give the baby your name and not the father's. Soo Min begins to ask about Yoo Sang Joon (Baek San's previous name) but they cut her off by saying, "The father of the baby died."

Jung Yoo Gun's biological father Yoo Sang Joon turned out to be Baek San's past identity. The man who Jung Yoo Gun believed as his father's murderer turned out to be his real father.
