It looks like bad news for the self-proclaimed future of the WWE Seth Rollins as there are strong rumors making rounds. hinting the return of Brock Lesnar.
With "Extreme Rules" coming this Sunday, April 26, WWE Universe expects, or at least hopes to see, "The Beast" Brock Lesnar's return to the four sided ring. However, there is no update on his return after he was indefinitely suspended on the post-WrestleMania Raw by Stephanie McMahon.
Fans have reportedly gone as far as comparing Lesnar to Stone Cold Steve Austin, claiming that Lesnar has the potential to be the most popular babyface since Austin, Inquisitr noted.
Strong rumors making rounds hint that Lesnar will return to invoke his title rematch clause, however, the WWE has reportedly not made any special attempt to make his name relevant on the show. This gives fans the freedom to speculate how WWE will bring Lesnar back into the mix.
That said, seeds for a Lesnar return may have already been planted as there was some on-screen tension between the Authority's Triple H and Seth Rollins during Monday's RAW. Apparently, the tension between Triple H and Lesnar is reportedly to set up Triple H lifting Lesnar's suspension this summer, and giving him a WWE World Heavyweight Championship match against Seth Rollins at SummerSlam.
There have been reports claiming that WWE now feels that The Authority's storyline has died down and that it's time to make some changes. One of those changes may involve turning Triple H babyface as he gets tired of Rollins' actions.
But, that's not all. Rumors have been teasing a Triple H vs. Seth Rollins match is taking place in the future, which could happen after Brocks beats Rollins and regains the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Lesnar will probably not be seen on WWE until July or August as the WWE usually likes to have Lesnar return to SummerSlam.
