While the condition of Whitney Houston's daughter is still uncertain, Bobby Brown has filed for guardianship over her million-dollar estate.

The news about the filing was first reported by 11 Alive, an NBC affiliate.

Bobbi Kristina Brown was declared under medically induced coma after she was found unresponsive lying facedown in a bathtub on Jan. 31 in her Roswell home. She's still at the Dekalb Medical Center where she was transferred from Emory University Hospital.

The report about Bobby Brown filing for guardianship over her estate also came on the heels of the singer's claims that Bobbi Kristina Brown's medical condition has drastically improved.

Whitney Houston's husband told reporters at a concert over the weekend that Bobbi Kristina was "awake."

This was confirmed by his sister, Tina, in a Facebook post who wrote that Bobbi Kristina Brown's condition has improved from being in a coma to being "no longer on life support."

"Still a process, but she is going to be OK," the post added.

In a statement, Atty. Christopher Brown, the lawyer for Bobby Brown, claimed that Whitney Houston's daughter has already "opened her eyes," and "there has been improvement" in her medical condition.

The statement went on to say that Bobbi Kristina Brown's will still undergo rehabilitation "and the quality of her life will not be known for years to come."

In light of Bobby Brown filing for guardianship over his daughter's estate, a psychiatrist claimed that the singer is in denial over Bobbi Kristina Brown's medical condition.

Lawrence Genen, a diplomate at the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, told The Wrap, that Bobby Brown is "clearly in denial about what's going on."

"Obviously she is still alive there, but what degree is she really [alive]? And the longer you remain ambiguous, it really does delay the natural grieving process," he said.
