Bad news for WWE fans -- UFC President Dana White has confirmed that Ronda Rousey won't be returning to WWE.

Since her epic WrestleMania appearance, rumors making rounds have hinted that Ronda Rousey may have a WWE match in her future. ButUFC boss Dana White, however, has other plans.

In an interview published April 24, White said Ronda Rousey is "one and done" with the WWE, FOXSport noted.

Still aching from Brock Lesnar's choice to re-sign with the WWE rather than return to the Octagon, White seems to be determined not to share his biggest star with Vince McMahon's brand.

It's clear that White would not be allowing UFC's most dominant female fighter to compete in an actual match for promotion, despite the fact that World Wrestling Entertainment has been running with the idea that Rowdy will be working an a legitimate match next year, particularly in WrestleMania XXXII.

MMANews noted this was basically what the WWE hoped to get out of having Ronda appear in the first place, in terms of a final payoff.

"What she did on WrestleMania was awesome," White said in an interview with Fight Network adding, "It was awesome. It came off great, I loved it. Um, she's a one and done."

The creative team in WWE was stunned to hear White's comments, according to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. Apparently, they had no idea that the UFC boss was completely opposed to the idea. Judging by the reaction, it looks like they were working with the thought that it was at least a possibility.

When White was asked if Ronda wouldn't be featured in any WWE matches, White replied "Nope."
