An aviation technology expert has reportedly claimed that a wreckage of MH370 is on the Bay of Bengal. Meanwhile, the support center for Beijing family has shut down.

According to Metro, Andre Milne, a military aviation technology developer, has claimed that Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 wreckage lies in the Bay of Bengal, between Malaysia and India.

The site added that Milne believes that the MH370 "drifted northwards to where satellite data shows an object identical to MH370 that is resting in the northern part of the Bay of Bengal".

In his appeal, he said: "This area is not being searched. I need your help in order to verify one way or another whether this is in fact MH370."

"This disappearance of this aircraft has touched every single person who has heard about it. It touches us all differently."

Milne added that to see if the site is the MH370, he encourages everyone to participate in the "crowdsourcing venture."

Meanwhile, the family support center staffed by the official from the government of China and Malaysia and Malaysian Airlines at Shunyi in Beijing has closed, according to The Star Online.

The site said that "a notice signed off by 'Chinese government joint working platform' said the decision was made "after considering the current circumstances."

The family members of the passengers of MH370 that disappeared on March 8 have been informed last week that the center will be shut down.

In addition, the search for the aircraft is still ongoing in the southern Indian Ocean and the Joint Agency Coordination Centre has clarified that the Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 cannot be in Diego Garcia, Maldives or Kazakhstan.

"Theories suggesting the aircraft is located to the north or significantly to the west of Sumatra are not supported by known facts or careful analysis. It is, for this reason, the aircraft cannot be in Kazakhstan, Diego Garcia or the Maldives," it said.
