Brad Pitt covered his injury with a pair of sunglasses as he took his twins, Knox and Vivienne, for a doughnut treat in Los Angeles on Sunday. This time, however, he traded flip-flops for a pair of sneakers.
"Brad hid his injury behind dark sunglasses while stepping out in a hoodie jacket, T-shirt, loose-fitting sweat pants and sneakers," Daily Mail said.
"The husband of actress and director Angelina Jolie balanced two boxes of sugary treats in one hand as he directed his kids back to their car," the article added.
People first noticed the injury to his face on Saturday when Brad Pitt went to Pantages Theatre in Hollywood for the 3rd annual Light Up the Blues concert.
In a previous statement sent to E! News, Brad Pitt explained how he sustained bruise to his face.
"This is what happens when you try to run up steps in the dark, with your arms full, wearing flip flops," the statement read. "Turns out, if you then try to stop your forward momentum with your face, the result is road rash."
But Brad Pitt wasn't going to let an injury stop him from supporting the Autism Speaks event.
"Regardless, I wasn't going to miss the Autism Speaks benefit the night after. Wonderful people and I was honored to be a part of this important event," the statement added.
"Also in attendance at the Pantages Theatre were celebrities such as Christina Applegate, Gary Cole and Amy Brenneman," said People magazine. "And the night ended with all of the performers - Spencer Harte featuring Petra Haden, Nick Guzman and Matt Savage - singing Neil Young's 'Rocking the Free World.'"
Angelina Jolie's husband also had a bit of consolation prize despite his injury as he won the night's centerpiece auction-a Fender guitar that was signed by the performers, all of whom have different forms of autism. Brad Pitt paid $23,000 for the product.
