Bungie is all set to host a livestream for the upcoming "House of Wolves" expansion in Destiny, just like they did last week.
"Come. Test yourself in the trials. Find the way through the darkness."
This mysterious message begins the teaser for an upcoming "Destiny" competitive multiplayer event titled the "Trials of Osiris," which is slated for release along with "House of Wolves" on May 19th. The short teaser brings out some new weapons and gear in the open, which apparently can be obtained in the event, all falling under the Egyptian-esque aesthetic theme, GameRant noted.
On April 29 at 11AM PST, Bungie shared fresh details for Destiny's upcoming expansion for "House of Wolves" on the official Bungie Twitch channel. Last week's live broadcast highlighted on the DLC's new social space, "The Reef," according to GameSpot.
The livestream hosted by Derek Carroll and Lars Bakken, explains everything there is to know about the event. Caroll and Lars, two designers from Bungie that worked on the Crucible (Destiny's competitive multiplayer content) is joined by a special guest community member, who goes by the handle Triplewreck.
Although "Trials of Osiris" will be added to the popular first-person shooter game alongside the "House of Wolves" expansion, the video does not reveal if "House of Wolves" will be required to play the content. Bungie teased a big update for the game to occur simultaneously with the release of House of Wolves, and it could be that "Trials of Osiris" was partly what they were referring to.
Bungie will hold another event on May 6 to reveal live gameplay from "House of Wolves'" new "Prison of Elders" multiplayer area. The final presentation will take place on May 8. Bungie has not revealed what fans can expect from this one, only telling them to "stay tuned."
