It looks like the reigning WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins will have more than just one problem at Payback.
The WWE Universe on RAW decided that "The Architect" Seth Rollins will defend the WWE World Heavy Championship against both Randy Orton and Roman Reigns in Payback on May 17 in Baltimore. Kane urged fans to vote for who they wanted to face Rollins at WWE Payback -- Randy Orton, Roman Reigns. or both. The WWE Universe gladly opted for a Triple Threat Match, according to SkySports.
As far as WWE's most popular rising star, Reigns is concerned the Triple Threat match need not crown him for it to be a victory for him.
According to BleacherReport, the bout offers Reigns another high-profile stage on which to work. The match-up features opponents who will help him deliver another standout performance and a stipulation that could ease the blow of defeat. Whether or not he walks out of Payback with the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, the bout will help him take more steps towards the top tier.
The Triple Threat match was revealed at the end of a tag-team tussle in which Orton and Reigns outclassed Kane and Rollins.
"It's now time to find out who the WWE voted for to be Seth Rollins opponent at Payback," The Big Red Monster said outside of the ring. "Will it be Randy Orton? Will it be Roman Reigns? Will it be Orton AND Reigns?
As Rollins looked up at the Titan Tron to get the answer on how the WWE Universe voted, the tallied numbers showed 78 percent in favor of a Rollins-Reigns-Orton Triple Threat match at Payback. No prizes for guessing, Rollins looked absolutely horrified while Orton, Reigns and even Kane seemed to string along with what the WWE fans opted for, TechTime noted. Reigns expressed that gratification with a spear on Rollins, sending his former SHIELD team member crashing to the mat.
