"Mob Wives" star Big Ang has just pulled out from the celebrity edition of "Big Brother" 2015 because of her ongoing throat cancer surgery. The reality star was also recently spotted donning a new blonde hairstyle after her operation.

According to The Sun, the "Mob Wives" star has signed up for a £250,000 deal with Channel 5 to become one of the official "Big Brother" housemates this summer with the talked about "UK v US" theme. Unfortunately, Big Ang was forced to pull out from the show, which left the bosses anxious to look for another celebrity to fill in Ang's spot.

"Big Ang pulling out is a huge blow. She would have been a great housemate. Producers are scrambling to find a replacement," an insider revealed.

Meanwhile, the 55-year-old debuted her blonde bob on Instagram early this week. Insiders from TMZ claim that Big Ang felt the necessity to change her hairstyle for a much-needed pick me up after the surgery.

Early this month, the "Mob Wives" star was diagnosed with a cancerous tumor in her throat, which has been surgically removed.

According to Inquisitr, Ang's family does not have a history of cancer. However, the reality star has been a heavy smoker for several years. Ever since the diagnosis, Ang was ordered to "quit smoking immediately".

The actress then relunctantly complied.

Big Ang has received numerous criticism for undergoing several plastic surgery procedures in the past. Although it is still unclear how many she has had done, her appearance has drastically changed throughout the years. The reality star has also received flak for her lifestyle choices.

In previous interviews, the "Mob Wives" star revealed that she is a "mob mull" - a woman who is often associated with mobsters. She also admitted that she enjoys being wined and dined by her wealthy suitors.
