While Bobbi Kristina Brown is still fighting for her life, another fight is looming between her father Bobby Brown and Whitney Houston's mother, Cissy, over her $20 million inheritance.
Bobby Brown reportedly filed court papers seeking guardianship over her estate should Bobbi Kristina Brown's condition gets worse.
A source told People magazine, "Bobby is Krissy's father. He only wants what's best for her. This is not about him taking her money - he has money of his own. This is about making sure that she will have the best care for as long as she needs ... The truth is that he wants to get her the best care she can possibly get, that's all."
Even if Bobby Brown is Bobbi Kristina's father, it's Cissy Houston, along with her uncle and aunt, Gary and Pat Houston, who manages her $20 million trust left behind by Whitney Houston.
Cissy Houston and Bobby Brown were also allegedly feuding on whether to take Bobbi Kristina Brown off life support, with Whitney Houston's mother telling everybody that her father should just let the 22-year-old rest.
According to Celebrity Dirty Laundry, "Bobby Brown is not going to sit back and let the Houston Family cash in on his daughter's $20 Million inheritance - especially after they gave up on Bobbi Kristina months ago."
There's another wrinkle in the battle for Bobbi Kristina Brown's $20 million inheritance as Nick Gordon has left rehab after seven weeks. Nick Gordon has been pleading to be allowed to see Bobbi Kristina Brown so he could check on her health condition.
"The 25-year-old is reportedly back home with his mother Michelle Gordon, after seeking help following a public meltdown while shooting a Dr. Phil interview on March 6," said Entertainment Weekly.
Bobbi Kristina Brown was found unresponsive in a bathtub on Jan. 31. She was rushed to the hospital and placed in a medically induced coma.
