Is Nina Dobrev second-guessing her decision to quit "The Vampire Diaries?"
That's the gist of the article ran by Celebrity Dirty Laundry, which claimed that Nina Dobrev has regretted her decision to quit "The Vampire Diaries."
According to the article, Nina Dobrev has failed to launch her film career because people associated her so much with her character in the series, Elena.
Nina Dobrev's film credits included "The Perks of Being a Wallflower" and "Let's Be Cops."
"Producers and executives don't really have anything other than The Vampire Diaries to judge her acting abilities," CDL said. "And while her acting on that show was significantly better than most of the other actors, it still wasn't really on the level of A-list film actors. She has the looks, and she might have the untapped potential, but she has done nothing to prove it yet."
Ian Somerhalder's ex has announced her decision to quit "The Vampire Diaries" in an Instagram post.
"I want to be the first to tell you that it wasn't just a holiday celebration, it was a goodbye party. I always knew I wanted Elena's story to be a six season adventure, and within those six years I got the journey of a lifetime," Nina Dobrev wrote. "I was a human, a vampire, a doppelganger, a crazy immortal, a doppelganger pretending to be human, a human pretending to be a doppelganger."
"I got kidnapped, killed, resurrected, tortured, cursed, body-snatched, was dead and undead, and there's still so much more to come before the season finale in May. Elena fell in love not once, but twice, with two epic soulmates, and I myself made some of the best friends I'll ever know and built an extended family I will love forever," Nina Dobrev added of her decision to quit "The Vampire Diaries."
