Microsoft Lumia 430 Available In India For $83, Detailed Specs And Features Inside

Microsoft has launched the budget phone Lumia 430 Dual SIM priced at R5,299, which is roughly around $83, according to Times of India.

The Microsoft Lumia 430 Dual SIM was announced in March. Microsoft's Corporate Vice President Jo Harlow said that people responded actively to news of this budget-friendly device so the company decided it will continue producing more, writes GSM Arena.

"People around the world have responded enthusiastically to our affordable Lumia range. We continue to invest in this segment to ensure that as many people as possible can enjoy signature Microsoft experiences, regardless of budget," said Harlow.

The Microsoft Lumia 430 is available in Orange and Black. The dual SIM smartphone has a 4-inch WVGA LCD display with a resolution of 480 x 800. The display features include brightness control, orientation sensor, tactile feedback and refresh rate of 60Hz.

According to Microsoft's official website, Microsoft Lumia 430 is powered by a dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor clocked at 1.2 GHz with 1 GB of RAM, 30 GB free OneDrive and 8 GB internal memory, which can be expanded up to 128 GB via MicroSD card.

Furthermore, the device has 2.0MP rear camera with fixed focus, a sensor size of 1/5 inch and a camera minimum focus range of 44cm. The front-facing camera has VGA 0.3MP with features such as video call, video recording and still image capture. Also, the front camera has a video resolution of 480p.

Microsoft Lumia 430 runs on the Windows Phone 8.1 operating system with Lumia Denim and it has a 1500 mAh battery, which is replaceable. The device offers support for Wi-Fi, 3G, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS.

Meanwhile, the company is pushing for affordable Lumia handsets in various markets. According to Gadgets NDTV, in January, the company launched the Lumia 435, Lumia 435 Dual SIM, Lumia 532 and Lumia 532 Dual Sim.
