The Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge Gold Platinum is now available in Canada.

According to GSM Arena, Samsung's latest smartphone models, the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge Gold Platinum color, will be available in Canada "in the coming weeks through major carriers."

For clarification, the Samsung's latest smartphones that have been launched in Canada on April 10 were only available in two colors, the Black Sapphire and White Pearl; and now the Gold Platinum color is now available and can be purchased from Fido, Rogers, Videotron, Telus and SaskTel.

Furthermore, the Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge Gold Platinum color have the same specifications, features and price as the other two color options, cited Sam Mobile.

As for the specifications, the Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge have the same screen size of 5.1-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1440 x 2560 that translates into 577 ppi.

Both devices have a Corning Gorilla Glass 4 for screen protection and TouchWiz UI.

Under the hood, both devices run on Exynos 7420 processor with a quad-core 1.5 GHz Cortex-A53 and quad-core 2.1 GHz Cortex-A57 CPU with a Mali-T760MP8 GPU and 3 GB of RAM.

In terms of memory, the Samsung Galaxy S6 and Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge offer 32, 64 and 128 GB storage variants.

Moreover, both smartphones have 16MP rear camera with 2988 x 5312 pixels and they feature optical image stabilization, autofocus, LED flash, face detection, Geo-tagging, touch focus, panorama and auto high dynamic range mode.

The front-facing camera of both handsets have 5MP and can take videos at 1440p at 30fps. Also, the front camera of both devices has an auto high dynamic range mode with 120 wide-angle lens that allows the user take an image with good clarity and quality.

The Samsung Galaxy S6 has a non-removable Li-Ion 2550 mAh battery while the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge has a 2600 mAh.
