The "Tekken 7" demo will be at the Texas Showdown and will reportedly feature new characters. Meanwhile developer Banda Namco has introduced a new character named Gigas.
Event Hubs reported that the MadCatz representatives who attended the Northwest Majors 7 have been robbed and among the various items have been stolen is MarkMan's laptop, which contains private information about "Tekken 7."
The said news has sparked questions if the "Tekken 7" demo will be released. However, MarkMan posted on his Twitter account that the Tekken" team will, indeed, be at future majors with a playable demo of the newest game.
Meanwhile, the developer of "Tekken 7" has added a new character named Gigas and the developer described it as having a "destruction impulse", according to Den of Geek.
Overall, there are 24 confirmed playable characters in "Tekken 7," namely Asuka, Alisa, Bryan, Claudio, Dragunov, Devil Jin, Feng, Heinachi, Hwoarang, Jin, Gigas, Josie Rizal, Katarina, Kazuya, Kazumi, Lars, Law, Leo, Luck Chloe, Lili, Paul, Shaheen, Steve and Xiaoyu.
Bandai Namco has not yet released any information to bring the "Tekken 7" to game consoles. However, Venture Capital Post reported that the game release date announcement is expected "on the San Diego Comic Con under Bandai Namco Fighting Game Panel within this year, currently set on July 25."
