Kris Jenner finally broke her silence following Bruce Jenner's sex change confession to Diane Sawyer during the tell-all interview last month.
In a piece from the New York Times, she weighed in on all the reports about Bruce Jenner's sex change controversy.
She said, "At the end of the day, I just want him to be happy. He's going to find his happiness, and he's going to have his journey."
Kim Kardashian also told Extra that Kris Jenner might not be doing too many interviews but she's happy that Bruce Jenner can finally be himself.
"My mom is doing really good. We're really excited. I was with Bruce yesterday and we were just saying what an exciting time in his life this is," she said. "Everyone, including my mom, we're just so happy he can be himself and happy."
Bruce Jenner opened up to Diane Sawyer about his sex change plans as he said that "for all intents and purposes" he is a woman trapped in a man's body. His announcement was well-received in Hollywood and he also received support from his two ex-wives. Kris Jenner, meanwhile, has yet to issue an official statement regarding her former husband's interview.
The former Olympian also credited Kim Kardashian for being the very easiest to talk to in light of his transition into a woman.
Kris Jenner will have a chance to elaborate more on her feelings regarding Bruce JEnner's sex change as E! will show a two-hour special called "About Bruce" on May 17 and May 24.
But Kris Jenner apparently was bitter about Bruce Jenner "discussing several of the things that she told him were off-limits" during his sex change confession to Diane Sawyer, said Radar Online.
After the tell-all interview, an unhappy Kris Jenner denied being contacted by ABC for comment ahead of the Diane Sawyer interview. Later, she backtracked and admitted that she was indeed asked for a comment.
