It looks like the "Best in the World" CM Punk will finally return to the wrestling ring, or at least that's what his fans believe.
Despite the fact that he reveals his hatred for the WWE, many wrestling fans are positive that CM Punk will someday return to the wrestling ring. Samoan American professional wrestler and Punk's close friend, Samoa Joe, believes that too.
By next month, Samoa Joe could be making his WWE debut after being associated with TNA Wrestling for a long time. Joe's most blatant achievement over at TNA includes his undefeated streak that lasted for eighteen months. That streak was ended at Genesis when Joe quit to Kurt Angle's finisher, the Angle ankle lock, according to reports on Christian Today.
Deep inside, Joe believes that CM Punk would want to step in the wrestling ring once more. However, with an unpleasant relationship with the WWE right now, his return is unlikely to happen any time soon.
Recently, Roman Reigns took a shot at CM Punk for claiming that he was the one who came up with the idea of The Shield during a Wizard World Q&A session over the weekend. The former Shield member spoke about Punk's claims, saying that several hands were involved in putting the trio together and that he, Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins made the group into what it became.
Reigns added that the only thing CM Punk created was the Pepsi tattoo on his shoulder. Punk even came under fire after Hideo Itami took a jab at him for stealing his GTS finishing move, Sports World News noted.
Citing irreparable differences, CM Punk left the World Wrestling Entertainment in January 2014 and vowed to never return. He revealed that he was annoyed at being "creatively stifled" by WWE and being forced to work hurt. Punk even accused WWE doctor Chris Amann of brushing aside a concussion he received at the Royal Rumble, and of misdiagnosing him on several incidents.
Amann promptly responded with a lawsuit, which eventually caused CM Punk's wife AJ Lee to retire from the WWE.
