Renowned Indian smartphone maker Micromax is gearing up for its third flash sale of the Canvas Spark, the next entry to the well-received Canvas series.
Micromax next Canvas phone, the Canvas Spark, will be available in its third flash sale Wednesday, May 13 via Snapdeal, beginning at 12pm IST for registered users.
The registrations for today's sale are now closed.
With 50,000 units of the Canvas Spark going out of stock in just five minutes on the last flash sale, 20,000 units went out of stock in less than two minutes. Micromax did not disclose the number of units slated to be available in the third flash sale, at the time of writing.
BGR noted that only registered customer can take part in the sale. Micromax suggests buyers to login at least 2-3 hours prior to the sale to increase their chances. But customers who fail to grab a Canvas Spark in this sale need not get disappointed as those customers can get notified for the upcoming flash sale.
Micromax's budget phone is the next entry to the popular Canvas series following Juice 2. The Canvas Spark will compete with Xiaomi Redmi 2, and Moto E and is priced at Rs. 4,999.
The Micromax Canvas Spark is a dual SIM smartphone, runs Android 5.0 Lollipop out-of-the-box. It boasts a 4.7-inch qHD (540x960 pixels) IPS display combined with Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The Canvas Spark is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582M along with 1GB of DDR3 RAM.
As far the camera is concerned, the Canvas Spark sports an 8MP read camera with LED flash and an M8 Largan lens, along with a 2MP front facing camera, according reports on NDTV Gadgets.
The Canvas Spark sports 8GB of built-in storage, which is further expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. As far as connectivity options are concerned, it includes Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, a 3.5mm audio jack, and FM radio. It delivers up to 335 hours of standby time, thanks to a 2000mAh battery.
The Canvas Spark will come in dual-tone color options including White-Gold and Grey-Silver. Canvas Spark has a sleek design with a metallic rim around it.
