Microsoft latest smartphone, the Lumia 640 will be available in T-Mobile next month.

According to Phone Arena, in a tweet response by T-Mobile, the Microsoft Lumia 640 will be available in all carrier channels on July 16.

As for the price, the carrier has not yet disclosed any information about it, but based on the official website of T-Mobile, it says the device is "coming soon."

For reference, the Microsoft Lumia 640 LTE has a 5-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1280 x 720, which translates into 294 ppi. It has Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for the protection of the screen against scratches.

As for the design, the smartphone has an exchangeable back cover and the user interface include, tactile feedback, double-tap to wake, vibrating alerts, voice commands and word flow keyboard.

Furthermore, the device has an 8MP rear camera with LED flash, auto focus, dynamic flash, rich capture and backside-illuminated image sensor. On the other hand, the front-facing camera of the smartphone offers 0.9MP wide angle with features such as video call, still image and video recording.

The video resolution of the main camera, the Lumia 640 has 1080p and a camera video frame rate of 30 fps.

The handset is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor clocked at 1.2 GHz. It has 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB mass memory, which can be expanded up to 128 GB via MicroSD card.

The Microsoft Lumia 640 runs on Windows Phone 8.1 with Lumia Denim and has a battery capacity of 2500 mAh that lasts for 36 days maximum standby time and 17.5 hours maximum talk time on 3G.

In addition, the device has a full range of free Microsoft service built in such as Skype and Microsoft Office. Also, the handset has a Cortana, which can assist the users in their daily activities such as checking the latest traffic or weather update, meetings and more.

Meanwhile, on Friday the pre-paid carrier Cricket has launched the Lumia 640 that costs $129.99
