ZTE is all set to roll out the new Nubia smartphone featuring an SLR camera in India and it will be exclusively available on Amazon India.
ZTE is geared up to launch its Nubia smartphone brand in India with a new device dubbed the Z9. The handset was made official in Beijing on Wednesday, May 6, and now China-based Nubia plans to roll out the nearly bezel-less smartphone in the Indian market on May 19.
ZTE has already sent media invites for the same as well. The new Nubia smartphone will be available exclusively on Amazon India and the Amazon has already gone live for it, The Indian Express noted.
Users can register on the Amazon page in order to get more information for the upcoming smartphone.
India has recently emerged as one of the hottest markets for smartphones. Nubia's move comes after Xiaomi's success in the Indian smartphone market. More and more major players are laying their eyes on the India handset market.
There is no information as far as the model type is concerned, however earlier speculations hint either a Nubia Z9 or Nubia Z9 mini that boasts a 5-inch screen. Nubia's "Unlimit Yourself" campaign teases a new Nubia smartphone with SLR camera along with sophisticated design.
That being said, there is a possibility that the comparatively newer mode, the Nubia Z9 mini will be launched for the Indian market simply because it seems more sensible to launch a recent model rather than an older one, according to reports on IBN Live.
The Nubia Z9 boasts a lineup of exciting features including a 1080p, 5.2-inch 2.5D panel, edged by a very thin reflective bezel, which creates an optical illusion of an edge-to-edge screen. The Z9 features a design that makes the device more ergonomic and easy to hold. The device makes use of the Frame Interactive Technology (FiT) that lets users control the device by simply touching the edge of the screen.
The dual SIM flagship device comes in three variants including:
Classic: 3GB RAM, 32GB storage, priced at $564
Elite: 4GB RAM, 64GB storage, priced at $645
Exclusive: Featuring additional fingerprint sensor, priced at $725

It won't be surprising if the company launched the Nubia Z9 Mini in the event which will later feature the entire Z9 line consisting of Z9 Max and the recently launched Z9.
