"Constantine" series may be cancelled but there might be hope just yet. Several reports claimed that Warner Bros. is actively looking for a new home for the NBC series.
As reported by Fansided, fans of "Constantine" should not lose hope just yet. Turns out, series co-creator Daniel Cerone is not giving up and he took to Twitter to encourage fans to tweet with the hashtag #SaveConstantine in an effort to find a home for the series.
"NBC a 'no' for Season 2. Warner Bros. working hard to find #Constantine new home. Stay active. Stream. Tweet. #SaveConstantine #Hellblazers," he wrote.
The website reported that after the cancellation has been confirmed, fans took to social media to, created the hashtag #SaveConstantine to show their support for the show.
It was mentioned that Warner Bros. should try to sell "Constantine" to the CW network. Fansided even perceived that the series would be a "perfect fit" for the network.
"The CW Network has a pretty strong relationship with DC Comics and Warner Bros. as the network is already home to two of the most popular DC Comics series out there right now," the article noted.
Meanwhile, when CW's Stephen Amell heard the news about the cancellation, the actor immediately took to Twitter and said that he will be willing to guest star on "Constantine" if NBC would rescind the cancellation.
"SaveConstantine -- Hey TV Networks / Netflix and the like... If you pick up the show, I'll guest star," he wrote.
According to Science Fiction, Amell was actually offered to appear in "Constantine" in the next season.
"Constantine is an NBC show, I'm on the CW. I had discussions with DC Comics - not NBC or the CW - DC Entertainment about guest starring on Constantine when it was on the air," he said.
"The reason that I was going to guest star on 'Constantine,' at least the idea that we were throwing around was he's an expert when it comes to the Lazarus Pit, which is now something that is a part of and will continue to be a part of 'Arrow,'" it said.
