The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is going to be released much earlier than its expected target date. Several reports claim that the latest flagship smartphone will be launched as early as July.
Traditionally Samsung reveals its Galaxy Note smartphones at the IFA tradeshow in Berlin, which happens at the last quarter of the year. Turns out, the mobile company is doing a different approach for the Samsung Galaxy Note 5.
According to insiders from WhoWired, via Pocket Lint, the latest Samsung smartphone will be released by July 2015. The website claimed that there are four reasons why the device will be launched earlier than usual.
1) Samsung reportedly finished the Galaxy Note 5 ahead of schedule.
2) Samsung wanted to offer more competition to Apple's iPhone 6 Plus
3) Android users are already craving for a follow-up to the Galaxy S6 and S6 edge
4) Samsung Galaxy Note 5 will be launched together with Samsung Pay system, to rival Apple pay and other digital payment services available in the market.
Uber Gizmo also pointed out that this time, Samsung wants to be a step ahead from Apple, since the latter usually launch its smartphone at the end of the third quarter, usually around September.
The company was reportedly shaken that Apple is also trying to develop smartphones for users who preferred big-screen devices, a market that Samsung used to dominate because of its Galaxy Note series. Tech Times reported that over 50 million iPhone 6 and 6 Plus has been sold per quarter.
Full specs and features of the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 has yet to be revealed, however, based on the leaked prototypes, the latest smartphone is definitely impressive. The 5.89-inch device that features a display of at least 2K-4K resolution is rumored to be powered by an Exynos processor. The device also packs a large 4,100 mAh battery and supports microSD cards which boosts its memory up to 256GB.
