Guardians rejoice! As the House of Wolves is closing in, Bungie is prepping up Destiny for the highly-anticipated expansion.
As Destiny fans gear up prior to the arrival of the much-awaited House of Wolves expansion, Bungie announced the exact release details via its official Twitter account.
The Expansion II House of Wolves is slated to release at 10 AM Pacific on Tuesday, May 19. Those eagerly awaiting the release of the new expansion pack for the hit first-person shooter video game can now note the exact moment when they will be able to access the new content.
While Bungie gets the game ready for House of Wolves, the developer is warning players that there may be outages during the time they get the expansion ready to drop, according to reports from Forbes.
Bungie took to its official Twitter account to announce that by Monday morning, players will see some brief interruption to Destiny service as the studio adds final touches before releasing House of Wolves. Bungie asked players to expect brief connection interruptions around 8 AM Pacific time by Monday morning.
The studio even urged players to be careful about starting activities they can't finish before 8 AM Pacific.
House of Wolves is the second major content pack for Destiny and Bungie has been actively promoting its contents for the past month in the form of weekly streams.
Fans got a glimpse of the new Prison of Elders in action, which is the new endgame cooperative Arena mode where three players form a team to take on hordes of enemies that increase in difficulty with each turn. Players get rewarded with high-end and exotic items, Segment Next noted.
But that's not all, fans all got to see Destiny's new multiplayer event called Trials of Osiris, which is a weekly elimination event. In the event, two teams consisting of three players each go toe-to-toe with one another and the more wins a team accumulates, the greater their rewards.
The DLC is slated to release on May 19 for all platforms and it is included with the game's Expansion Pass or it can be purchased separately for $20.
