Looks like a bad news for Seth Rollins as he'd be facing his former Shield brother, Dean Ambrose, for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
Fresh from his epic title defense last Sunday during the Payback pay-per-view, Seth Rollins not only was able to retain his WWE World Heavyweight Championship, but also debuted a new finishing move when he used Triple H's Pedigree on Randy Orton.
Rollins had a thin chance of retaining his title during the Fatal-Four-Way match at Payback as he squared off against his former The Shield teammates and Randy Orton.
Though Rollins emerged as the winner of the Fatal-Four-Way, he'd be defending his precious title again this month as a championship match was announced on the "Seth Rollins, Architect of a Dream" segment on Monday Night RAW, according to reports on Inquisitr.
In the upcoming WWE Elimination Chamber 2015 pay-per-view, Rollins will face the Lunatic Fringe and his former teammate, Dean Ambrose, for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, while John Cena will go toe-to-toe with Kevin Owens.
The United States Champion will be keen on getting his hands on him at The Elimination Chamber after he was Pop-Up Power bombed by Owens, who, during the show revealed that The Authority booked the singles match for the WWE Network event, Bleacher Report noted.
Monday Night RAW opened up with The Authority bosses Triple H and Stephanie McMahon returning. The two announced that the Intercontinental Championship would be defended inside the Elimination Chamber this month.
Triple H and Stephanie said that they'd pay tribute to Seth Rollins in a segment called "Seth Rollins, Architect of a Dream." Triple H and Stephanie also announced that Dean Ambrose, Roman Reigns and Randy Orton wouldn't be getting a WWE Championship match for a long time.
"Seth Rollins, Architect of a Dream" segment, saw each member of The Authority, including the Big Red Monster, Kane, showing their appreciation for the WWE Champion. However, Joey Mercury was interrupted by Ambrose, who demanded that The Authority book Rollins vs. himself for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at the Elimination Chamber.
The Authority refused and ordered Rollins to attack Ambrose. Ambrose fought J&J Security and Kane who got involved in the midst of the brawl. Ambrose grabbed Rollins, placing his head on a bunch of cinder blocks near the announcer's table, which reminded of the time when Seth Curb-Stomped him through a bunch of cinder blocks last summer.
Holding Rollins down, Ambrose demanded that The Authority give him the match he wanted, forcing Stephanie to make the match between Rollins and Ambrose at Elimination Chamber.
Right after the show went off the air, Ambrose laid out Kane. Earlier in the show, the Lunatic Fringe slammed Kane saying that Paul Bearer and his brother The Undertaker would be disappointed in him. This lead to Kane booking a match between him and Bray Wyatt, who eventually won it with a little help from J&J Security.
Though for now, the WWE World Heavyweight Championship match at Elimination Chamber is just a one-on-one match; fans can expect more stipulations as well as participants to be added later.
The Elimination Chamber pay-per-view is scheduled to take place on May 31.
