EA's NHL 16 guarantees to be built with inputs from the game's biggest fans, adding new features across the fan favorite single-player modes, unrivaled game day atmosphere and a lot more.
EA Sports Hockey League is all set to make its return with NHL 16 and this time, EA is determined to give its hockey franchise's biggest fans exactly what they want in the next version of the game.
The developer noted that NHL 16 boasts fan favorites and most requested modes and features. Also, EA added new experiences, in order to further enhance the game. One of the additions encompasses single-player, offline season play in Hockey Ultimate Team mode.
In addition, "Be a GM" mode now subscribes to managing the morale of individual players on the roster, while "Be a Pro" will see the reappearance of sim to the next shift, which was initially popularized in NHL 12.
But that's not all, the mode will also the ability to start a career in the minors and a new progression system where how to play on the ice decides who you become in the NHL, according to reports on IGN.

Quality was blamed for the missing features in last year's game as EA cited a lack of confidence in the mode's quality.
