On May 21, CJ E&M announced the addition of Block B and AOA to the lineup of performers at KCON 2015 in Los Angeles.

Block B is the second male group to join the lineup of KCON LA artists, following the May 14 announcement of Super Junior. Block B previously performed in the United States during their 2014 showcase tour, which made stops in cities including Washington D.C. and New York. Their appearance KCON LA follows their first European tour and their sub-unit release, BASTARZ.

The seven-member girl group AOA will also perform at KCON LA. AOA debuted in 2012 but gained widespread attention with their 2014 single album, "Miniskirt." AOA followed the success of "Miniskirt" with their EPs "Short Hair" and "Like A Cat." As the lone girl group on FNC Entertainment, AOA continues to stand apart from other acts through a combination of captivating music and style.

Several members of AOA have appeared in Korean drama. Mina has appeared in supporting roles on dramas including "Wonderful Days" and the 2014 series, "Modern Farmer." Hyejeong has also held supporting roles in K-Dramas such as "Cheongdam-Dong Alice" and "The Blade and the Petal."

Seol Hyun starred opposite Lee Min Ho in the film noir "Gangnam 1970" and is currently leading the cast of the teen drama "Orange Marmalade."

The addition of AOA and Block B to the lineup of KCON LA follows the May 21 announcement of SM Entertainment's Girls' Generation as performers at KCON 2015 in New York.

KCON was launched as a single-day event in 2012. The event expanded to a 2-day convention in 2013 and 2014. KCON 2015 will be a bi-coastal event, which will begin with the 3-day convention of KCON in Los Angeles. KCON LA will be held from July 31 through August 2.

Ticketing information will be released by the KCON organizers, over the next few weeks.
